A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Capital Projects and Infrastructure Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of project finance and development experience, particularly in renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Duties

• Advise clients on project finance and development matters.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, including tax equity financing, debt financing, M&A, EPCs, and power purchase agreements.
• Manage components of deals independently and as part of a team.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other legal teams to facilitate project execution.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in project finance and development.
• Experience with tax equity financing, debt financing, and various contracts related to infrastructure projects.
• A proven track record in renewable energy projects is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed and in good standing in Washington, DC.
