Duties

• Manage a high project load and administrative staff.
• Independently handle all assigned cases in a diverse caseload.
• Chair client corporate meetings.
• Manage electronic task lists and billing.
• Advise clients on case status and maintain strong relationships.
• Draft complaints, answers, and conduct discovery.
• Prepare witnesses and handle depositions.
• Engage in motion practice, trial preparation, and conduct trials.
• Perform appellate work as needed.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in Ohio.
• 5+ years of litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or representing governmental organizations.
• Demonstrated dedication and hard work in prior roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and sophisticated software.
• Availability during business hours, evenings, and weekends for client meetings.
• Excellent personal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
