Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Investment Funds Attorney for its New York, NY office. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in fund formation, commercial real estate, real estate finance, and joint ventures. This is a professional track position, not leading to partnership.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate fund organizational documents and investor side letters.
• Handle commercial real estate transactions, including purchase, sale, leasing, and financing agreements.
• Engage in joint venture agreements and secondaries transactions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Produce high-quality work and manage competing priorities.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and business judgment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the state of New York.
