Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced lateral associate to join its Corporate Real Estate Group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in real estate practice at a comparable law firm. This role is not open to current law students.

Duties

• Advise clients on property acquisitions, dispositions, and ground leases.
• Counsel borrowers and lenders on debt financing and loan investment transactions.
• Provide guidance on digital infrastructure and data center transactions.
• Represent clients in joint ventures and fund formations.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions of real estate businesses.
• Manage sports and entertainment-related real estate transactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in real estate practice.
• Experience at a comparable law firm preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions effectively.
