Duties:

• Represent clients in domestic relations and immigration cases, including attending court hearings
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, agreements, discovery requests/responses, and legal briefs
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for case preparation
• Regularly meet with potential and existing clients, both virtually and in person
• Collaborate with opposing counsel on case developments
• Manage high-volume caseloads and maintain consistent communication with clients

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Bar membership in good standing
• Ability to handle high-volume caseloads efficiently and professionally
• Strong interest or background in family and/or immigration law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

• JD (Juris Doctor)

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Virginia

Skills:

• Legal research and writing
• Client communication and client relations
• Courtroom presence and litigation skills
• Case management and organizational skills
