A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience in real estate finance, with a focus on loan origination for large structured commercial transactions.

Duties

• Manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Handle loan origination work for commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Engage in asset management and workout activities.
• Work on secondary market repurchase facility transactions and exit strategies.

Requirements

• Two to six years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience with mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills

• High level of academic achievement.
• Large law firm experience preferred.
