The candidate will be responsible for legal writing and research, preparation of pleadings and other documentation, and participation in discovery proceedings and court hearings as necessary. Will serve in a wide range of matters from individual chapter 7’s to complex chapter 11’s, and often should enable the candidate to take on significant responsibility for matters. NY Bar admission is required. Should have 2-3 years of experience for the creditor focused bankruptcy practice which includes representation of secured creditors, indenture trustees, claims traders, landlords, asset acquirers and others.
