Legal Administrative Assistant
The candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and documenting account/file activity in accordance with the Firm and client policies into the Firm’s system of record. Will generate pleadings and other legal documents for attorney review. File documents with the courts via traditional and electronic filing methods. Perform general clerical duties, including data entry, scanning, photocopying, collating, and faxing. All other duties as assigned. Should be a team player, have a high level of attention to detail, and provide integral support to state practice. Must have a basic understanding of the state legal process preferred but will train. Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Organizational is required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with basic office hardware, such as scanners, fax machines, copiers, etc., is needed. Should have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must have good problem-solving skills. Good Data Entry Skills are needed.
