The candidate responsibilities of the role include: Working collaboratively as part of a team; Oversee and manage the legal issues that transpire between people that are members of the same family; Representing clients in matters involving divorce, alimony, paternity, emancipation of children, child custody, domestic violence, property division upon divorce, and constitutional issues defining marriage; Supervise and direct mediation sessions, and offer effective legal advice; Collaborating with clients and their advisors to develop strategies designed to meet specific goals; Business development, including professional organization involvement and writing; Supervising paralegals, staff and team members as role progresses. Should have 0.5 - 2 years of relevant experience with a strong interest in family law. Must currently be licensed, or currently eligible to become licensed, to practice law in Iowa. Should preferably have Specific experience with family law.
