The role involves handling various aspects of employment-related litigation while providing clients with top-notch legal services and counsel.

Duties:

• Represent clients in employment-related litigation in both federal and state courts, including matters before the EEOC and NYSDHR.
• Develop case strategies and provide effective counsel regarding workplace compliance and legal concerns.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, and argue motions in court.
• Manage cases independently and collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality service.
• Provide clients with proactive advice on legal issues impacting the workplace.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of employment law experience, including litigation in state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in handling matters before the EEOC and NYSDHR.
• Ability to develop case strategies, draft legal documents, and argue motions effectively.
• Strong experience in workplace compliance and advising clients on employment-related issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver client-centered results.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing.

Skills:

• Extensive experience in employment law litigation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and analysis.
