Senior IS Workplace and Operations Specialist

Duties: The candidate will lead and manage multiple workplace buildouts and teams simultaneously, in support of the of technology requirements and approaches to achieve the preferred end state and in support of Cooley’s technology strategy. Serve as a liaison between Cooley IS management, Regional/Local DOA’s, construction project management, general contractors, sub-contractors, Cooley direct vendors and property management related to technology focused initiatives. Work independently, provide on-site or remote support for design, buildout, and optimization including tracking of key dates, expenses, and coordinating with field teams. Guide build team through technical issues and challenges. Delegate work and assignments to the build team (to include vendors). Support technology and infrastructure builds in its entirety from proposal to implementation. Assist in the development of technology budget and build plans during the analysis and design phase of the project. Responsible for the review of all technology focused RFI and RFP documents required for bid, which includes synthesizing data, flagging issues or concerns and seeking approval by appropriate IS stakeholders. Manage expectations throughout the buildout regarding scope, budget, billing, schedules, and time frames. Conduct meetings according to the scope of the buildout including construction, technology, and management meetings. Identify vulnerabilities and optimization opportunities. All other duties as assigned or required.
