A law firm seeks an Associate or Senior Associate Attorney with over two years of experience to join its expanding office in Decatur, GA. This position offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful case responsibility and hands-on litigation experience within a technology-forward, metric-driven environment.

Duties

• Actively manage legal files and conduct depositions.
• Appear in court and participate in trial proceedings.
• Handle cases involving trucking and transportation litigation.
• Engage in general insurance defense and premises liability matters.
• Address construction and construction defect issues.
• Manage product liability and condo association litigation.
• Focus on fraud-related insurance matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in Georgia.
• Active admission to the Georgia Bar is required.
• Experience in insurance defense or trucking litigation is preferred.
• Deposition experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, and courtroom skills.
• Comfortable in a client-facing, data-driven environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Georgia Bar admission.
