Location:

• Scottsdale, Arizona

Duties:

• Represent clients in family law matters including mediation and litigation

• Handle complex legal research and draft briefs, memos, and client communications

• Conduct discovery and due diligence for litigation readiness

• Actively contribute to marketing efforts and client acquisition

• Close initial client consultations and manage client engagements

• Present at community and organizational events

• Engage in firm branding through social media, blogging, and professional involvement

• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to balance workloads and meet client demand

• Maintain accurate and timely records of client information, billing, and case management

• Encourage client satisfaction through consistent communication and service

• Meet annual billing expectations of approximately 1,500 hours, with a collection goal of 1,400 hours

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law

• Proven experience in both mediation and trial litigation

• Strong communication and advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage a caseload and meet billable hour expectations

• Must be comfortable with occasional non-core hours (e.g., evenings/weekends) for client consultations

• Demonstrated experience in marketing and client development preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona, or eligible for reciprocal admission

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing ability

• High level of emotional intelligence and empathetic listening

• Strong time management and organization

• Proficiency in managing client relationships and using legal software tools
