Associate Attorney
The candidate' will be responsible for the management of the criminal defense of clients by developing case resolutions, negotiating dispositions, and advocating for clients in court. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Perform legal research as necessary. Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions and equity letters. Negotiate pleas, punishments, and requirements. Maintain client communication and relationships. Manage client expectations by communicating legal proceedings. Make appearances in court and case-related appointments with/for clients. Manage appearance calendar to avoid conflicts. Communicate court appearances with Paralegals. Assist clients via phone, text service, email, or walk-in to any extent possible. Obtain Google reviews from clients regarding case handling. Should have excellent written and verbal skills. Education/Experience: NYS bar admission. Three to five years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer.
