Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Remote Litigation Partner to join their team in Kansas City, MO. This role offers a fully remote work arrangement and focuses on expanding the firm's presence in Kansas, Missouri, and the surrounding market.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel and representation in various litigation matters.
• Develop and maintain a portable book of business.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to serve public and private clients.
• Engage in strategic planning and advocacy in relevant practice areas.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri and/or Kansas.
• Minimum of eight years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong written advocacy and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience in Employment & Labor, Insurance Coverage, Toxic Tort and Environmental Law, Business & Commercial Litigation, Product Liability, Management and Professional Liability, or General Liability.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Missouri and/or Kansas.

Skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
