This role involves managing cases from inception through resolution, including litigation, negotiations, and client advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to handle a high-volume caseload effectively.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and other claims.
• Manage all aspects of personal injury cases, including investigations, legal strategy, and client communication.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Conduct depositions, and attend mediations, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Consult with expert witnesses, review reports, and prepare affidavits.
• Negotiate settlements while maintaining a trial-ready approach for each case.
• Provide guidance and clear communication to clients throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience handling personal injury cases.
• Proven ability to manage a large caseload and achieve favorable results.
• Strong litigation skills, including motion practice, discovery, and courtroom advocacy.
• Excellent negotiation and client advocacy skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• An active member in good standing with the Illinois Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Effective verbal communication and client management skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
