Healthcare Attorney
The candidate will be involved in various healthcare regulatory, transactional and corporate matters within New York State and nationally. Will work closely with the staff, Board Members, parents/clients, donors, doctors, media, and the brain injury community at-large. Will provide legal and strategic support across the organization. Will work on healthcare and compliance regulations including federal and New York State. Will work on transactions including intellectual property, due diligence, contracting and professional and employee agreements. Will work on the corporate practice of medicine including the certificate of need process. Will support associated business development and other activities. Will work with regulators, clients, vendors, and other organizations. Will collaborate with Chief of Staff to administer and manage projects and programs within practice. Will present to and work with key stakeholders on changes in law, policy and practice within the brain injury community. Will manage activities related to the brain injury community on a national scope. Will collaborate with local, regional, and national partners on policy initiatives, funding, and other efforts within the brain injury community, as needed.
