Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm based in Denver, CO, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience and be admitted to practice in Colorado. The primary responsibilities will include courtroom appearances in County Court and assisting in compliance with ever-changing laws.

Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including but not limited to hearings, trials, and motions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Assist senior attorneys in case management and preparation.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in the state of Colorado.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in litigation.
• Preference is given to candidates with courtroom experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Colorado State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules.
