Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney with experience or a strong interest in trusts and probate litigation to join our reputable and client-focused law firm in Newport Beach, California. Our firm represents individuals and families in all areas of estate planning, probate administration, and fiduciary litigation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Represent clients in trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation matters 

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives 

• Assist with probate filings, trust administration, and fiduciary accountings 

• Handle disputes related to wills, trusts, estates, conservatorships, and breaches of fiduciary duty 

• Prepare legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements 

• Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and other proceedings 

• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and team members 

• Conduct legal research and stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations 

Qualifications: 

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 

• Active member of the California Bar in good standing (required) 

• Experience in estate planning, probate, or trust litigation preferred (strong interest considered) 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting abilities 

• Professional demeanor and client-focused approach 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
