Duties

• Manage a full caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, including drafting legal documents and overseeing discovery processes.
• Represent clients in depositions, court appearances, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior attorneys and participate in business development efforts.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases to formulate litigation strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Florida; admission to additional jurisdictions is a plus.
• A minimum of 10+ years of litigation experience.
• Superb understanding of commercial procedure and substantive law in Florida.
• Exceptional legal writing, oral, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated success in similar past roles.
• Experience mentoring junior attorneys and/or staff is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Florida.
