Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a Mid-level Employment Law Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco, CA team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of relevant experience, strong academic credentials, and membership in the California Bar. They will be responsible for providing clients with legal counsel on various aspects of employment law.

Duties:

• Drafting and negotiating bonus plans, commission plans, and other compensation arrangements.
• Conducting investigations into workplace misconduct, including harassment, discrimination, and other forms of misconduct.
• Providing crisis management support for employees and executives facing career challenges or misconduct allegations.
• Advising employers on best practices to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
• Handling leave laws, employee discipline, and other employment cycle scenarios with fairness.
• Assisting high-net-worth individuals with the hiring and management of personal and household staff.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in a law firm's Employment Law group.
• Admission to and in good standing with the California Bar.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience drafting and negotiating employment agreements, separation agreements, and standard employment documents.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California Bar.
