Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure the accurate and timely completion of client matters.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and keep them informed on the progress of their cases.
• Represent clients in estate planning-related hearings and legal proceedings.
• Handle administrative tasks such as drafting legal correspondence, managing case files, and maintaining compliance with legal deadlines.
• Travel to various office locations within the valley as required for client meetings or other duties.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth through client referrals and business development efforts.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Arizona or pending licensure.
• Prior experience in estate planning is a plus, though candidates with a strong legal background and interest in estate law are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client service skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Arizona State Bar or pending licensure.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities.
• Expertise in estate planning concepts and practices (preferred).
• Excellent client interaction and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
