Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Creditor's Rights in New Jersey. The candidate will work in a hybrid setting, with three days in the office, and will report to the Managing Attorney of New York/New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a dynamic environment and gain trial preparation experience.

Duties

• Draft, review, and approve pleadings and court documents for clients.
• Advocate for clients' interests in litigation.
• Appear in court and argue motions.
• Communicate with opposing counsel to discuss potential settlements.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of litigation experience in New Jersey.
• Experience in foreclosure or legal debt collection preferred.
• Admission to practice law in New Jersey; New York admittance or eligibility is a plus.
• Experience in drafting Motion for Summary Judgment is a plus.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.
