Duties

• Analyze and evaluate evidence and legal procedures in complex litigation matters

• Draft memos, briefs, opinions, and legal correspondence

• Manage and prioritize a detail-oriented caseload

• Represent clients in education law and special education matters

• Negotiate terms and agreements with attention to legal detail and client interest

• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas including labor, employment, business, corporate, and environmental law

• Attend client meetings and hearings as needed throughout the region

• Exercise sound judgment and maintain client confidentiality

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant legal experience

• Ability to manage a high-volume workload under pressure

• Willingness to work in unfamiliar areas of law with appropriate supervision

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Must have reliable transportation for travel needs

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

• Valid driver’s license
