Location:

• Stuart, FL

Duties:

• Manage complex insurance defense cases across multiple practice areas.
• Develop and execute case strategies, including exploring early resolution and ADR options.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and manage expectations.
• Draft legal documents, motions, and case strategies for trial preparation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective defense strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including training, mentoring, and roundtables.
• Support business development and marketing efforts to grow the firm’s client base.
• Utilize case management software and other legal technologies for case efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Proven track record in managing and litigating insurance defense cases.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a caseload efficiently.
• Ability to communicate effectively and promptly with clients.
• Ethical and timely timekeeping for billing purposes.
• Deadline-driven with a focus on case management and client satisfaction.
• Technologically adept with experience in case management systems.
• Knowledge of AIM/Perfect Law is a plus.
• Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.

• Expertise in insurance defense litigation and trial preparation.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong case strategy development and client management abilities.
