Duties:

• Meet with clients to understand their legal needs and advise on suitable legal strategies.
• Draft and prepare discovery documents, pleadings, and motions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of billable hours.
• Ensure all case files and deadlines are properly managed and organized.
• Participate in Docket Control Conferences and hearings.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions and other procedural activities.
• Assist with court hearings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in general litigation or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient with legal research tools such as Westlaw.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in the state of Texas.

Skills:
