Duties:

• Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including pleadings, motions, reports to carriers, and discovery materials.
• Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw and other resources.
• Take and defend depositions in legal proceedings.
• Represent clients during court appearances for motions, conferences, and hearings.
• Manage complex cases from initiation to resolution, maintaining meticulous records.
• Collaborate effectively with expert witnesses and fellow legal professionals to build strong cases.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense or related legal fields.
• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• Experience in personal injury or bodily injury litigation (plaintiff or defense) preferred.
• Prior exposure to the insurance industry or corporate risk management is a plus.
• Strong case management abilities, including comprehensive discovery processes.
• Excellent communication, writing, and litigation skills.
• Proven track record of taking depositions and collaborating with experts.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar membership.
