Job Overview:
A reputable law firm located in Fort Lauderdale is currently seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, outstanding research and writing abilities, and demonstrated courtroom experience. This role provides the opportunity to work on sophisticated legal matters alongside supportive partners in a collaborative environment.

Location:

• Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Duties:

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters

• Draft discovery requests, responses, and substantive motions in both Federal and State courts

• Engage in oral advocacy, including motion hearings and depositions

• Work with senior attorneys on case strategy and client advisement

• Participate in large-scale cases with significant exposure

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in complex commercial litigation

• Prior experience with large cases and/or at a mid-to-large law firm preferred

• Active membership in the Florida Bar

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance preferred

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar required

• Federal court admission preferred but not required

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities

• Strong oral advocacy skills

• Proficient in legal document drafting

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
