Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.
• Draft and review a variety of legal documents including pleadings, contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
• Assist in managing litigation cases from inception through resolution by organizing case files and tracking deadlines.
• Engage in negotiations on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism and strategic insight.
• Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information to inform case strategies across diverse legal fields.
• Stay current on evolving laws and regulations pertinent to practice areas.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission or eligibility to sit for the bar exam.
• Proven experience in a law office setting demonstrating familiarity with legal research and drafting procedures.
• Strong knowledge of various practice areas, including Employment and Labor and Family Law.
• Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw is essential.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal documents under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Education
