A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for its expanding practice in Washington, DC. The attorney will manage motor vehicle liability cases, including trial preparation and court appearances, representing plaintiffs in Virginia, DC, and Maryland.

Duties

• Handle motor vehicle accident cases in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland.
• Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the DC, Maryland, or Virginia Bar; Virginia preferred.
• 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high volume of cases and take them to trial.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
