A law firm seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney in Denver, CO. This role offers substantial responsibility and autonomy, including managing matters from pre-litigation analysis and client counseling through trial and resolution. The ideal candidate will have experience litigating intellectual property disputes and handling trademark matters.

Duties

• Manage intellectual property matters from pre-litigation through resolution.
• Litigate IP disputes, including trademark, trade secret, copyright, and patent-related cases.
• Handle trademark prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Provide client counseling and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice law in Colorado.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Experience in IP litigation and trademark matters.
• USPTO registration / Patent Bar admission preferred.
• Knowledge of trial and hearing procedures.
• First-chair trial and/or arbitration experience.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently.
• Valid driver's license and authorized to work in the United States.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Colorado Bar License.
• USPTO Registration / Patent Bar Admission preferred.
