Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Construction Attorney for its Tampa, FL office. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized Construction and Surety Group, engaging in diverse practice areas including contract claims, transactions, arbitration, and litigation in both state and federal jurisdictions.

Duties

• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and clients on litigation issues.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage discovery.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.
• Engage in courtroom advocacy and motion practice.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction and construction-related matters.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Skills

• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.
