A law firm seeks a highly motivated Personal Injury Attorney with 2-6 years of litigation experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice to join their legal team in New York. The successful candidate will collaborate with partners, clients, and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services and uphold the firm's high standards.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Collaborate with partners and experts to assess case viability and develop legal strategies.
• Conduct and defend depositions, including plaintiffs, defendants, and third-party witnesses.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and expert reports.
• Prepare cases for trial and actively participate in courtroom proceedings.
• Provide superior client communication and foster long-term relationships.
• Build a personal brand and referral network to drive firm growth.
• Maintain a high standard of ethics, integrity, and client service.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in New York and in good standing.
• 4-6 years of litigation experience in personal injury and/or medical malpractice law.
• Strong research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, self-starting mindset.
• NYS federal court admission preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
