A law firm seeks a Cyber and Data Privacy Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. The firm is looking for motivated attorneys to contribute to its national and international cyber and data privacy practice, providing litigation defense and breach response services.

Duties

• Provide litigation defense for cyber insurers and major corporates.
• Engage in 24/7/365 breach response services.
• Collaborate with global cyber teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Propose litigation strategies and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials.
• Manage crisis situations and advise on regulatory and data risk issues.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of federal litigation experience or 2-6 years of cyber incident response work.
• Experience in crisis management and regulatory investigations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of California.
