Job Overview: A law firm in New Orleans, LA, is seeking an Attorney with a strong background in general litigation and specialized experience in Mass Tort, Rideshare, Sex Assault, and Sex Trafficking Litigation. The ideal candidate should possess an active law license in good standing and demonstrate the ability to handle complex legal and factual challenges independently.

Duties:

• Handle caseload primarily focused on Mass Tort Litigation, Rideshare Litigation, Sex Assault & Sex Trafficking Litigation.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• An active law license is required in one or more states, preferably Louisiana.
• Experience in general litigation, with demonstrable experience in Mass Tort, Rideshare, Sex Assault, and Sex Trafficking Litigation.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active law license (in good standing) in one or more States.

Skills:

• Litigation experience in Mass Tort, Rideshare, Sex Assault, and Sex Trafficking cases.
• Legal research and analysis.
• Drafting legal documents.
• Courtroom advocacy and negotiation.
• Case management and organization.
