Litigation Legal Assistant

The candidate will do set-up and maintenance of large electronic and paper files; request of medical, financial, and other case-related documents and records; electronic filing in both state and federal courts, as well multiple jurisdictions; calculate and calendar state and federal deadlines; scheduling of depositions, meetings, and hearings; and direct client contact. Should have 2+ years of working in a litigation law firm, ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines. Should be an exceptional listener and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Should be willing and able to problem-solve and recommend solutions. Must have excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Should be reliable, team player with a friendly, positive attitude and a high-level of professionalism.
