Associate Counsel
Duties: Reporting to the General Counsel, will work both independently and as part of interdisciplinary teams to provide legal advice and counsel to the internal business departments on a range of topics. Work directly with colleagues and outside parties reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including marketing and sales, distribution, procurement, services, licensing, engineering, co-packing, private label manufacturing, and confidentiality agreements, along with ancillary legal documents. Develop standardized contract templates and policies designed to efficiently support PNC’s business. Advise on regulatory requirements pertinent to consumer-packaged goods and food manufacturing and sales, including labeling, packaging, and claims, antitrust / trade compliance, privacy, environmental, and other regulatory issues. Advise on prosecution and enforcement of trademarks and intellectual property Monitor legal and regulatory issues relevant to the company and provide updates by way of trainings, newsletters etc.
