Duties

• Defend consumer law cases in federal and state courts, focusing on class actions.
• Manage all litigation stages, from information gathering to trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategies.
• Engage with clients and opposing counsel.
• Coordinate with local counsel and manage cases with insurance risk managers.
• Provide industry-specific legal advice to clients.
• Draft and update memoranda on financial services industry issues.
• Review and draft policies to minimize risks.
• Conduct compliance audits and prepare for regulatory reviews.

Requirements

• JD Degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Top 1/2 of law school class, law review, or moot court experience.
• Consumer defense experience preferred; insurance coverage experience helpful.
• Licensure in multiple states and federal court admissions helpful.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
• Comfortable in a paperless environment.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills.
• Independent and highly motivated.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
