Duties:

• Represent clients in civil defense litigation cases.
• Manage and take the lead in depositions.
• Perform thorough legal research and prepare written documents, including motions and briefs.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies.
• Advocate on behalf of clients in hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to gain mentorship and further develop skills.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide effective communication throughout legal proceedings.
• Prepare case files, maintain documentation, and track litigation progress.
• Contribute to team efforts in achieving favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in defense.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and advocacy abilities.
• Ability to manage caseload and work under pressure.
• Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with clients, peers, and senior attorneys.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Colorado State Bar (or eligible to be admitted).

Skills:

• Litigation and trial preparation experience.
• Proficient in legal research tools and databases.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
