Corporate Associate
The candidate will be handling complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, securities law, business formation, corporate governance, and contract matters. Work experience in accounting or finance is preferred. CPA, CFA, or other accounting/valuation credentials are needed. Experience with post-M&A legal matters involving purchase price adjustments or valuation of damages are needed. Should have 3+ years of experience. Must have a sound business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external counsel and client relationships. Should also demonstrate strong analytical and audit skills. Strong academic credentials with an undergraduate degree in finance or accounting. Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed. Should have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Outstanding project management skills and capacity to work with multiple attorneys on a variety of assignments. Should be organized, exceptional attention to detail, efficient, and collegial with a superb work ethic.
