Job Overview

A law firm seeks multiple attorneys to join its expanding Personal Injury Department in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The firm is looking for both entry-level attorneys interested in developing courtroom and litigation skills, as well as experienced attorneys to handle personal injury cases.

Duties

• Handle personal injury cases in District and Circuit Court.
• Manage litigation files from filing through resolution.
• Conduct depositions and court appearances.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial work.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Assist with litigation and case preparation.
• Draft pleadings and motions.
• Attend court hearings and depositions.
• Work closely with senior attorneys for training and mentorship.

Requirements

• Maryland Bar License (Required).
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Personal injury experience preferred for experienced candidates.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.
