Oversee and develop the firm’s Trusts & Estates practice, acting as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families.
Craft and execute tailored estate plans, including wills, trusts, and asset protection strategies.
Provide legal guidance on tax-efficient wealth transfers, charitable giving, and business succession planning.
Analyze and interpret relevant estate, gift, and trust tax laws to ensure compliance and optimal client outcomes.
Represent clients in probate proceedings and estate administration, ensuring the smooth execution of final wishes.
Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to deliver a holistic planning approach.
Stay informed on legislative updates and industry trends to refine and enhance estate planning strategies.
1 to 6 years of experience practicing Trusts & Estates law, with exposure to high-net-worth clientele preferred.
Strong knowledge of estate planning, tax law, and asset protection strategies.
Exceptional drafting skills, with the ability to create comprehensive legal documents tailored to clients’ needs.
Adept at explaining complex legal concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner.
Ability to work independently while also fostering collaboration with colleagues and external advisors.
Licensed to practice law in New York or be eligible for admission.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar.
Expertise in estate and trust law, with an emphasis on tax considerations.
