A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly qualified CPU Design Technology Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in drafting patent applications, corresponding with patent offices, advising patent litigation teams, and interviewing inventors.

Job Details:

• Draft patent applications for innovative clients, providing comprehensive descriptions and figures.
• Correspond with the patent office regarding pending patent applications, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Advise patent litigation teams based on a deep technical and scientific understanding of the relevant areas of expertise.
• Conduct interviews with inventors to gather essential information about new ideas and innovations.

Requirements:

• Strong background in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with specific experience in CPU Design, including virtual memory management.
• An advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.

Skills:

• Superior writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent academic credentials, demonstrating a strong academic background.
• Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office is preferred.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Certifications:

• Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office is preferred.
