Client Support:
Manage assigned estate planning and elder law cases under supervision of senior attorneys
Prepare and review legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments
Provide clear, compassionate guidance to clients throughout the planning process
Case Collaboration:
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure timely case progress
Assist with elder law-related matters and coordinate with senior attorneys on strategy
Legal Research and Drafting:
Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters
Draft pleadings, memoranda, and internal legal documentation as needed
Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on estate planning or elder law
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating within a team
High level of professionalism, including strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal work
Familiarity with estate tax planning is a plus
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Oregon or Washington (or both), in good standing
Willingness and ability to obtain additional licensure, if needed
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong research and legal analysis capabilities
Proficiency with legal technology, including document management and legal research tools
Ability to work compassionately with elderly and emotionally sensitive clients
