Duties: Review and process incoming FOIA requests. Perform legal research and assist in drafting legal documents. Review documents to extract and summarize selected data and information. Review case materials to become familiar with questions under consideration. Review case files - noting and correcting case file deficiencies. Review and analyze available relevant precedents. Gather and review data to discover patterns. Oversee reproduction of legal records and other documents. Maintain case records and scan documents. Conduct inventory of files and make recommendations on changes to record collection and retention. Perform special projects and other assignments as may be required.
