Duties

• Collaborate with partners on acquisition, disposition, and leasing transactions
• Conduct title and survey due diligence
• Optional borrower-side financing involvement
• Work with a diverse clientele, including developers, REITs, equity investors, and property owners/operators

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial real estate experience within a law firm setting
• Proficiency in title and survey due diligence
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Virginia State Bar and in good standing

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex transactions
• Proficiency in legal research and document drafting
