Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level Litigation Associate to join its Class Action group in New Jersey. The team provides strategic advocacy, guiding clients through complex litigation. This role involves representing consumer-facing businesses in class action cases and mass arbitration defense across various jurisdictions.

Duties

• Represent clients in federal and state courts and arbitration tribunals.
• Manage e-discovery processes and navigate discovery disputes.
• Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions.
• Conduct fact and expert discovery, negotiate settlements and mediation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience.
• At least 2 years in class action defense and mass arbitration.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures.
• NJ/NY bar admissions required or ability to waive in.
• Experience with FTC and state attorneys general investigations is a plus.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school with top academic credentials.

Certifications

• Bar admission in NJ/NY or ability to waive in.
