Job Overview

A law firm seeks a senior-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&A and private equity transactions, with a strong understanding of acquisition agreements and related documentation.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documents.
• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.
• Collaborate on middle-market deal structures.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in M&A and private equity transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the office at least three days per week.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Georgia.

Skills

• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong business sense and maturity.
• Familiarity with middle-market deal structures.
