Duties

• Manage and oversee all phases of litigation, from intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses for depositions and trial.
• Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
• Maintain detailed time records and adhere to firm billing practices.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the appropriate state Bar.
• 3-5 years of litigation or relevant legal experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with case management software is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law and in good standing with the appropriate state Bar.
