A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Associate in Parsippany, NJ. Duties

• Manage caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Engage with clients, experts, and attorneys to devise litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.

Requirements

• Minimum of seven years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in New Jersey state and federal courts.
• Proficiency in taking and defending depositions.
• Experience with filing dispositive motions in Superior Court.
• Prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.

Skills

• Strong advocacy and communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive status reports.
